Earlier this month, we were invited to a celebration recognizing a great grant project, Couleecap in La Crosse. In addition to two solar arrays on the top of two adjacent apartment buildings, they also installed eco-friendly heat pumps to lower costs. The video below explains this project better than I can.
It’s projects like these, for organizations that focus on services for low income families and the homeless that make this work so rewarding. Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, and I know that you have many worthy causes that deserve your attention. But please consider giving to the Couillard Solar Foundation. Our mission is to help organizations just like Couleecap, add renewable energy and reducing the impact of fossil fuels to their mission, and every dollar you give helps add more than $10 of solar energy to Wisconsin’s power grid.
