As the school year comes to a close, there is often a great deal of gratitude to our local schools for the care and attention they offer our children. We’ve worked with many WIsconsin school districts who have translated their care for the children into care for their communities and for the environment as well, when they’ve chosen to add a solar array to their building or property.
Last year’s Inflation Reduction Act (often referred to as the IRA) includes a new benefit for our schools, the “Direct Pay”. Direct Pay is a 30% rebate offered to nonprofits who install solar on their property. This includes school districts and municipalities. If your school has been thinking about solar, now is the time to get serious.
