Solar for Good Grant Program

Solar for Good is the first grant program created by the Couillard Solar Foundation. In partnership with RENEW Wisconsin, the Solar for Good initiative fosters the expansion of solar power among mission-based nonprofits and houses of worship in Wisconsin.

Solar for Good awards up to 50% of the panels needed (based on the size of the project) to nonprofit organizations, in the process helping them switch to clean, renewable, solar energy. Solar for Good also offers small grants for engineering reviews and technical assistance to get projects started and see them through to success.

Finally, Solar for Good celebrates awarded solar projects and helps nonprofit organizations educate their communities about the benefits of solar power through ribbon cuttings, press releases and presentations.

When nonprofits save money on their utilities, that is money available to reinvest in their mission.
